Shoot 'Em Up

This past Sunday we had David (DAM.IT) shoot our product for our Fall 09 product drop.

Big thanks to "Lil" John Mishima for lending his body to the cause.

Another thanks goes to Maca for doing some modeling for us. This guy is incredibly talented with a camera and a computer. Must have been a trip to be on the other side of the camera this time!

Wait, is that Le Tigre or Blue Steel?

Blackberry meeting. Oh hey, there's Sean! Check out his new blog Dope Is The New Black and follow him on Twitter. Your new source for music, fashion, design, and lifestyle! He shot some footage of our shoot and recently finished up an interview with us for the blog, so keep an eye out for that!

Art (Winds of Plague) just got back in town a few days ago and paid us a visit as well. WOP just completed a Japanese tour and in the coming months look to take on the rest of the world.

I love when friends stop by to keep us from working too hard and going insane. BYOBBQ and BYOB!

No comment. Yet.

Just Another Day Out In Sunny L.A.

Seriously though, it's really hot. Our office is not friends with the sun right now. Anyway we're just about finished up with our Fall 09 production. Should be shooting product photos this weekend. Also, we're in the middle of wrapping up our Holiday 09 line sheet. We're trying to be legit and catch up to this crazy industry! Weird, huh?

Here's some more coverage of Fall 09 production.

And an early preview of Holiday 09. Wonder what these could be for?

Sometimes, I'm an impulse buyer. Bud Light got me with their tailgateapproved.com campaign. Damn them and their creative ways. It was a deal though - 6 for $11.99!

I'm a sucker.

But Wait, There's More!

I want to show you more, but we just met. I think we're going too fast. Maybe we should just be friends for now and maybe later we can take our relationship to the next level. I like you, but I think I need more time. It's not you, it's me. It's our first time, and I want it to be special.

Oh wait, are we still talking about Fall 09? Teeeeeeeeeease.

Just teasing.

As the brand continues to grow and mature, we've always made sure to take the right steps at the right time. With Fall 09 and Holiday 09 on the way, it looks like it's that time to take another step forward.

Broadcasting

I apologize about the lack of blog posts in the last couple weeks. We've been busy preparing to make some changes to the way we will be releasing our upcoming Fall 09 and Holiday 09 collections and our office is abuzz! We've been busy bees running around getting things done and making moves, for both L&O and Glad Rags Ink.

We've got more big updates for you guys and we can't wait to tell you! Your regular programming will resume tomorrow.

Stay tuned!

Before we completely move on to our upcoming Fall 09 collection, just wanted to remind everyone that there are only a few select items left available from our F/W, Spring, and Summer 09. Unfortunately, all size mediums and larges are completely sold out but there are some goodies left in small, xlarge, and xxlarge!

Check our ONLINE SHOP or visit the Karmaloop SALE to view the remaining stock before it's gone forever! Don't sleep!

By the way, we're going to start revealing some sneak peeks at Fall 09 on our Twitter account, so I hope you're paying attention. FOLLOW US!

9/11

Regardless of what really happened on that fateful day, never forget the people who gave their lives to save others knowing full well their own demise. Forget all the conspiracy theories and hoopla. Keep those people and their families in your thoughts.

Never forget. This country is NEVER DEAD.

Vegas Vacation

Over the past Labor Day weekend, we made a trip out to Vegas for some well-deserved time off and vacation time. Now that we're back at work, we've been super busy catching up so I haven't had much time to update the blog and I apologize about that! For now, I'll let Mike tell you how our trip went.

Ciao!

Framework

And while we're on the subject of using the old warehouse, this past Sunday we actually used it again for an impromptu Dear Life music video shoot. We tore up the old dark room, cleared the place out, filled it with unnecessarily too much equipment, and got ready for another fun (hot and sweaty) night. The subject was "Framework", the title song from our debut record, with Mark (INEEDFILM) at the helm as director.

And here's how it went down!

Thanks everyone for coming out and raging with us! We had a great time. And that was officially our last day at the old warehouse. Farewell, Clark Ave. It was fun.

NEVER DEAD.
