I Don't Want To Grow Up

If you know L&O, then you know how much of an influence the punk and hardcore scenes have had on not only our style but the way we do business. We've applied the things we learned while being in a band and try to "do-it-yourself" as much as we can. It's no surprise to me that many of our friends that we met while being in a band have continued to do bigger and better things, if not making it as a performer or recording artist. There's something about having to get your hands dirty and figure things out on your own that makes the success so much sweeter.

This time around, we chose The Descendents as the influence in a couple of our graphic t-shirts.

The "Milo" Tee

One thing I've always loved about our brand is the fact that we're so different from everyone else. We take our inspirations from being involved in the punk and hardcore scene, and with the anti-trend becoming so trendy these days, we still find ways to be different with attitude and meaning behind it. This time we chose The Descendents' character Milo to lead us into the new season and mashed him up with our logo. The iconic punk band was known for their mentality of wanting to be rejected and sometimes that's how we feel too. I mean, who cares, right? Everything sucks anyway.

The "Still Sucks" Tee

The Descendents and their negatively positive attitude were way ahead of their time and after all these years it can still be applied to anything. Everything seems to be losing its integrity these days. Fashion, music, and even the economy have been experiencing some serious downgrades. Over saturation and quantity-over-quality are ruining everything and quite frankly, everything sucks. In fact, it's almost 2010 and everything STILL sucks.

Both tees are now available in our ONLINE SHOP and on Karmaloop along with the rest of our FALL 09 drop so make sure you grab it before someone else does!
