It's About Time!!!
Sorry for the late update, but there have been hundreds of pictures to look through to best sum up our weekend! On top of that, we've been real busy working on the Fall 2008 line (be on the lookout!).
We left for San Francisco around 4 AM Thursday the 28th. I don't know how we got everything we needed and everyone to fit in my car, but it happened!
When we got there, it was about 10:30 in the morning Friday, Jon (Fully Laced) had breakfast ready for us (pictures coming up in our extensive food post.)

Check out this crazy view from Jon's balcony! SF is beautiful.
Before we set out on the town, Jon and Mike introduced us to The Ultimate Workout...

It's rough, it's tough, and it left me hella sore. Don't underestimate it!

The Skate day was a nice event (minus all the technical difficulties). A lot of people came out to just hang out and watch some skating.

Everyone's capitalizing on skateboarding these days.

At night, we hit up the wharf for some "chowda" and fresh air.
Always Grizzly.
LA Torre in SF?
The next big thing right here. USA cowboy boots. Jump on it!
I really wish we had enough time to have checked out this exhibit. Dali is one of my favorite modern artists. Especially his surrealist films. You should check them out.
Truly surreal. He definitely cleans up nice.
One of the things I enjoyed most about San Francisco was the weather. Probably about 20 to 30 degrees cooler than LA and still sunny. It's a whole new world.

Check out the lines on this one.

These two were the first ones to hit up our "Special Deal" for the weekend. Thanks!

There were some pretty interesting contests for giveaways. Almost like a Japanese game show. That's what you get when you put Jon in charge of coming up with ideas for free stuff.

The Headhunters Crew from San Jose was in the building with a nice exhibit of some good 'ol BBoy-ism.

The antics of Mike "The Grizz". (RAH! / ASC)
We were pretty tired after all the shenanigans, and still had the long drive home.
Vince was NOT a happy camper.

LOUD& OBNOXIOUS made an appearance at the Hundreds 3rd Annual Block Party. But you probably heard about that shindig already.
Hey Johnny! You're on our blog now. Give us a call before you head back to Boston!
I haven't had the chance to mention the Thrash and Burn Tour yet. Our buddy Karl from Misery Signals got us in for us to finally meet and to enjoy the show. To be honest, lately I haven't been listening to metal or hardcore lately because of the current disappointment in that genre of music. Nothing has WOW-ed my ears for a while. However, the Thrash and Burn Tour has re-ignited what I've been missing from the metal scene. To see a band as solid and efficient as Misery Signals (which Vince, Matt, and I have been huge fans of for years) with a visual display of pure musicianship and passion. Or to see the beefy and very entertaining Parkway Drive, all the way from Australia. It was also very interesting to see how much the whole scene has changed (shout outs to the breakdown, get-down couple!).
Anyways, Karl also gave us some copies of Controller (the new Misery Signals CD).
There was a nice little surprise for us in the booklet. Thanks Mis Sig for the continued love and support!
A HUGE thank you goes out to Jon and Mel for taking us in for the weekend in SF! Thanks to Mike and Jeff of ASC for showing us a good time. Thanks Gary (Dunkxchange) and Episode (Active) for having the events and giving us the opportunity of coming up. Thanks to the Hundreds for all the food and drinks at the Block Party. Thanks Jaimee for sitting in the middle seat the entire SF weekend. And THANKS to everyone that came out to the events and hung out with us or bought a shirt, you guys made the weekend worthwhile!
What a hefty post! Thanks for sitting through and reading along!
PS. Hey Jeff, thanks for letting us use the camera! Come by the shop and pick up some stuff!
